Less than a month into staying in Thailand, I learned a very valuable lesson: Learn how to say “not spicy please”. I appreciate a hint of spice here and there but in Thailand, I realized “spicy” means completely different. But of course, I also love the fact that I can find a good noodle house within 100 meters wherever I am.





These noodles were not spicy, you may however choose the option to customize it by using the readily accessible condiments on the table.
Oh yeah, by this time, I have already gone to the local wet market so I could prepare my own meals.

Oh, I met a fellow countryman in the market. He asked for my number and offered friendship after realizing I just got here. Did he think I was lonely or homesick? Pssshhhh, amusing but thankful anyways.
