My very young friend, Vincent, loves this. For some reason I
don’t. It’s not bad but I just do’nt like it. it doesn’t matter
because I made this for him anyways. For a three year old to
like this is amazing isn’t it?
Lato salad
2 cups fresh gulaman
2 tomatoes
1/4 cup seasoned vinegar
Season vinegar with salt, pepper and sugar. Blanch lato in
briskly boiling water for about 4 minutes or until the color
changes into a subtler but still bright green. Drain and place
on a plate with the seasoned vinegar. Slice tomatoes into
desired size. Garnish the lato with the tomatoes. Serve
slightly chilled. Best paired with fried tuyo and steamed rice.
