I’ll tell you the truth. I made myself to finally commit on finishing a 12 Days of Christmas for 2 reasons. 1. I need to empty my baking pantry before the year ends. 2. I need to revamp my post choices that would include reviews, videos etc. So I’d need to buy a new blogging plan.
I’m almost halfway into getting rid of every perishable ingredient. This one’s a bonus because I baked this a few weeks back and did not post a recipe. Here it is.

Basic Brownies
Procedure:
Pre-heat oven at 350°F or 175°C. Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan, set aside.
1. In a large saucepan, melt ½ cup butter.
2. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs and 1 tsp vanilla.
3. Beat in 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa, ½ cup flour, salt and baking powder.
4. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan. Line evenly with large white marshmallows.
5. Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. 10 minutes before end time, drizzle with melted chocolate on top. Do it as quickly as possible. Do not overcook.
Note: To Make Frosting: Combine 3 tbsp softened butter, 3 tbsp cocoa, honey, 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1 cup confectioners’ sugar. Stir in until smooth. Frost brownies while they are still brown.
Other toppings: Melt 2-4 tbsp chocolate bar. Frost into warm brownies then sprinkle with extra chocolate chips and toasted chopped nuts.
Enjoy!
