cha yen

Cha Yen (Chai Iced Tea)
3 pcs chai tea bags
1 cup ice cubes
1 cup clear cubed gelatin
3 cups cold water
1/4 cup condensed milk
1/4 cup evaporated milk
procedure:
Seep the tea bags in hot water for 5 minutes. Meanwhile prepare everything else you need to prevent opening the fridge every two seconds because you forgot the ice cubes, again. It saves energy (for you and the fridge).
Pour seeped tea into a pitcher (without the tea bags) then add condensed milk and evaporated milk. Stir. Add water, stir then adjust taste as you please. In individual glasses, add some ice cubes and cubed gelatin then pour the tea mixture. Serve immediately.
Everyone who’ve been to the streets of Thailand knows that this isn’t the real deal. I was craving, there’s nothing I can do about that. Craving must be answered to in haste as to prevent uh, things, that are unpleasant.
I couldn’t have made chai tea anyways because I ran out of cloves and cinnamon sticks so I couldn’t make a decent close to the real thing “chai”. This one sufficed. The smell was enough to soothe one’s ragged soul.
All right, that time my soul wasn’t really in any close proximity to being ragged. I was just showing off and proving a point, to no one in particular. You see, there’s this kid who comes often in our house in week ends to hang out and such.
So, this kid is really opinionated and he shouldn’t because his opinions aren’t supported by real facts but by his “kid interpreted visuals”. I was watching a re run of Junior Master Chef Australia 2 and he keeps on saying things like, “Look at that girl, she doesn’t know what she’s doing. It’s so obvious.” He kept on saying the sort
and then I asked, “Hey do you know how to make pasta from scratch?” Then he said, “No.” “Then please don’t say things like that.”
Hah hah, I was mean but he did stop. Now that I think clearly he’s not a child,he is 11 or 12. I’m just saying
I really dislike brats. They’re everywhere now a days. Gone are those times when children behave and stay put.
How times change.
